Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville Tickets - $25/person Join us for an enjoyable evening at the Isle a la Cache Museum in Romeoville and help make a difference! Stroll around the museum campus, take a close-up look at their native plant pollinator garden; a project funded with proceeds from past native plant sales, enjoy drinks on the new deck overlooking the DesPlaines River, take in some live music while you’re sitting fireside, or head into the Museum to learn more about the rich history of the fur trade era in Illinois. You might even want to purchase a few more native plants. We will have a limited supply available for sale during the gathering. Your ticket purchase will help us raise $10,000 which will be matched dollar-for-dollar by J-Power USA! |
What does your ticket include? Your ticket purchase includes food, snacks, beer and wine tastings, live music, and s’more’s. Non-alcoholic beverages are also included. If you placed an order for native plants, we’ll set your order aside in the VIP area until you are ready to head home for the evening. The event is rain or shine. In the event of inclement weather, we will move the gathering into the museum. Please help us and consider making an additional gift when you purchase your ticket to the Summer Blooms Gathering. It is 100% tax-deductible and will help to bring ALL people and nature together!
A FEW EVENT UPDATES!!
Just to be clear, for just $25, you get all this! Grumpy Gaucho will be serving up their delicious handcrafted, Argentinian cuisine. If you enjoy wine, you can pair your dinner with some incredible selections of boutique wines provided by the Wine Cellar Outlet in Joliet. Our craft beer selection will be provided by Evil Horse Brewing Company and will feature several of their flagship beer selections. We'll also have a selection of beers from the lighter side. Not a wine or beer drinker, not a problem. We'll have a wonderful selection of non-alcoholic beverages too. We're also incredibly excited to partner with Open Water who will be providing our bottled water for the evening. Climate-Neutral certified, female-owned, and Chicago-based, Open Water's mission is to provide the most sustainable bottled water in the world! Our music for the evening is being provided by Tristan Charles, a young and talented acoustic guitarist. Tristan plays an eclectic range of music from rock, blues and jazz to folk Americana.

As part of your $25 ticket, you will receive special VIP pricing which means great discounts on the native plants we have available that evening. COVID-19 & GATHERING
7/29/2021: The Summer Blooms Gathering is an outdoor event being held in a large open space. In the event of inclement weather, portions of the event will take place in the museum and around the covered deck where there is still ample space to socially distance. Masks are not required for those attending outdoor programs. Individuals who visit Forest Preserve District buildings and attend indoor programs are being encouraged to wear masks, regardless of vaccination status, due the determination by health officials that Will County is the site of "high" coronavirus transmission.
The Nature Foundation of Will County, in partnership with the Forest Preserve District of Will County, has followed the restrictions and guidelines set forth by the District during the Covid-19 pandemic.

ABOUT OUR CAUSE
Proceeds from the Summer Blooms Gathering, the raffle, and native plant sale (above event costs) will help fund a new amenity at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center in Channahon; an ALL PERSONS INTERPRETIVE TRAIL.
This trail will provide multi-sensory, interactive experiences for people of all ages and physical and mental abilities. The trail provides a supportive, nature-based learning experience and highlights the surrounding river, forest and pond habitats as well as the unique wildlife drawn to the river ecosystem.
Our goal is to raise $10,000 and we are so excited that our corporate partner, J-Power USA, will match it dollar-for-dollar, ultimately providing $20,000 to the Forest Preserve District of Will County for this important project.
