Native plants are beautiful, resilient, and provide everything pollinators need to thrive! So, come on out to Will County's largest native plant sale at the beautiful Isle a la Cache Preserve & Museum in Romeoville. Shop in-person for over 60 different species of native plants perfect for the pollinators in your life! While you are shopping for plants, you can chat with our amazing native plant experts. They will help you select your plants and answer your questions. Plus, we will have some great free resources. Conservation starts with you, so don't miss this event! JUST ANNOUNCED! NATIVE ROOTS & CANOPIES NURSERY will be joining us only on Saturday, May 21 from 9a to 2p with a collection of native trees and shrubs. The nursery specializes in woody plant species with an emphasis on edible trees and shrubs for pollinator gardens, native restorations, permaculture, food forests, and agroforestry. They'll be bringing a selection of native trees and shrubs perfect for the home landscape. Perennial plants will be available in individual quantities or you can create your own collection with the help of our native plant experts. *Plants are $2.75 each, plus sales tax. *Cash, check and credit card accepted. *Sale will be held rain or shine. *Bring along a box and fill it us as you shop. *Wear a mask based on your personal preference, informed by your personal level of risk.
